The food was very good and although our waitress had a lot of tables to Service, she did an excellent job. Love the ambience and the view. My ribeye was cooked to perfection. My girlfriend had never had such an awesome French dip.

After speaking with management regarding our issues with the restaurant we were invited back with a gift card. Lilly was great. She is the type of server that you hope to get at every place you go. Professional and attentive. She never seemed overwhelmed. The food was great, but the only thing was the sides are always a bit cold. Not sure what the problem is but everything was a whole lot better. The ambiance is great but your handicap,in my opinion, is the hostess. She again seems cold and unapproachable and she is the first interaction you have with the restaurant. Great drinks from the bar, high quality and on point. Definitely we will make another trip to try out other meals. Thank you again for reaching out and inviting us to give the restaurant another try. Also we visited again without the restaurant knowing we were coming. It was a pleasure to dine there this time

Wow, what a spectacular small, clean restaurant with an amazing view of Monterey Bay. Customer service by the hostess and Lilly, our server, was incredibly helpful with the menu. Quite the variety on their menu from Korean bbq to lobster ravioli, which I highly recommend. The clam chowder is thick with clams, celery and an almost potato puree, so, so good; served with sliced hot bread and butter. The lobster ravioli was to die for. Thick, creamy sauce, large parmesan flakes over 8 large lobster stuffed ravioli with asparagus and mushrooms. Not sure what hubby ordered but the risotto was divine with crab with a slight sweetness. We will be back!

Wow! Amazing service, delicious well crafted dishes and great drinks! We were in town for the day and decided to stop. I wouldn't recommend doing this because it gets really crowded so please make a reservation! I had the hearty filet mignon stroganoff and my husband had the most delectable scallop pot pie have ever had. Both were very rich, but not offputting just satisfying. Our waiter provided excellent service, and the atmosphere is very comfortable. If you come dressed to the nines or dressed in shorts and tennis shoes you'll fit right in. The prices were extremely reasonable. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice, relaxed, scrumptious meal in Monterey.

Made reservations online easy. We got sat right away. There is a lovely view on the patio which is also pet friendly. Claudio, our server was very nice. The cream rigatoni was good but the stroganoff was outstanding! We also ordered the French martini, blood orange mule both of which were great! We ordered the hypnopolitan but it was very strong! A very cute romantic date spot in the area with great views, and good eats!

FANTASTIC food & service! I visited today with my family and the manager Axel and Bartender Lexi were beyond accommodating to our needs. The view was nice as well but the food is so much better :) One advice: skip the fish&chips and go for the filet mignon stroganoff and thank me later!

In the spirit of trying somewhere new or a spot we haven't visited in a while AND being tired of turkey leftovers, last night we revisited The Beach House. It's been over a year since we last stopped in. Our last visit was not great. Glasses were spotty, food was lacking as was service. However, I heard that not only was the restaurant under new management, but they also had a new chef. I can say with certainty that it's made a huge difference as our experience last night was quite good! We started with the Crab Arancini, panko-crusted risotto balls filled with Dungeness crab served with citrus remoulade and charred lemon. I was a bit disappointed as the first bite was delicious, but barely lukewarm. However our server, Derek, quickly remedied the issue and brought out a new plate of hot arancini. Four to a serving which my husband and I certainly appreciated, these tasted like delicious little crab cakes perfectly complemented by the citrus remoulade and a squeeze of the lemon. I really wanted to order the sand dabs, but I am trying to venture away from ordering the same thing so decided on the charbroiled pork chop with bacon and avocado-smashed yukon gold potatoes, sauteed broccolini and brandy glaze. My husband ordered the lobster and cheese tortellini with asiago lobster sauce. This was a huge surprise to me as he never orders a white sauce and rarely enjoys lobster. Much like chicken, I worry about ordering pork out as it is easily overcooked. Not to worry here - my bone-in, thick pork chop was perfectly cooked resulting in a moist, tender and flavorful meal. I initially thought the addition of avocado to mashed potatoes was odd, but it turned out to be quite delicious. The brandy glaze made me want to lick my plate. My husband's pasta was loaded with lobster making the $33 price seem more reasonable. The Asiago sauce was rich and decadent. For me the tortellini were a bit too al dente, but the dish was still a hit. Of course we couldn't finish - portions were generous. Derek was still able to tempt us with dessert. He recommended either the key lime pie or chocolate pots de crème. We decided on the pots de crème as well as a splash of Grand Marinier. The orange flavor of the liqueur went very well with the rich chocolate pudding. A decadent ending to a wonderful meal! Service throughout our evening was attentive and friendly - Derek did a fabulous job! The view was gorgeous and the company, simply the best! We would definitely return based on last night's visit. Kudos to The Beach House!!
